On the go, and on the road, the newest release of ComicBase will help you keep your collection data at your fingerprints. ComicBase 15 will let you review what you've got (or what you're wanting to buy) on a variety of mobile devices, including iPhone and Android smartphones, portable tablet computers, like the iPad, and even internet-capable game devices. We've been mobile for a while now, but we've got more reports, and best of all, the ability to include cover pictures--which were usually too space- and ink-intensive for print reports (which, by the way, if you roll old-school, we still do, too.)

Like picking up new issues of your favorite titles each week? We do too, and to make comics entry even easier, we've now added a New Comics Wednesday feature--when you get home with your new purchases, you can pull down the new issues and just check off what you've bought to add it to ComicBase.

As for all the other features you've told us you love--they're still there, too, like weekly value updates, complete with new pictures and issues; full color cover scans; comprehensive searchable information; and fast and easy data entry, with or without a bar code scanner.
Upgrade before September 15, 2010, and you can take advantage of special pricing for current subscribers: $99.95 for the Archive; $49.95 for Professional; and $39.95 for the Express. Each upgrade includes another year worth of weekly updates.
ComicBase 15 is available now, and you can order online at www.comicbase.com.
If you’re the owner of an registered version of ComicBase whose update subscription is still in effect, you’ll see a registration number and download link for ComicBase 15 already set up for you on your Registrations page at www.comicbase.com.
All ComicBase users should also check our our great upgrade specials by clicking the “Renew/Upgrade” button found on that page (upgrading extends your subscription and entitles you to all program and data updates throughout the year).
Of course, you can always just give us a call at 408-266-6883. We’re happy to answer your questions, as well as help you get you going on the greatest ComicBase ever!
We love seeing our customers at Comic-Con, and this year, we had a special prize for those who could stop by. To celebrate our new, improved mobile device support, we gave away an iPad to one of the lucky entrants who were able to view an image with their smartphone and log in to a special web page. This year's winner was Kevin Koerner, who's now able to take his collection with him on both his smartphone and his new tablet computer.

But Kevin wasn't our only winner--we also had a special guest exhibitor in the form of Wes Amann, who entered our Backstage Pass contest the week before the con began. Wes made last-minute plans to fly out to join us from Texas, and enjoy the privileges (and some of the work!) of being an exhibitor at Comic Con.
But those weren't the only prizes we were giving away: as usual, we had lots of goodies for comic trivia mavens with the right answers at our annual ComicBase User Group meeting, where ComicBase principal Peter Bickford talked about the latest features in ComicBase, and our inkling of where the comics field is going.
And as always, we had show specials, which you, too, whether you were at Comic Con or not, can take advantage of until October 30, 2010. Visit us at www.comicbase.com to see them and upgrade now.
