This book is an overview of the works of Yoshitaka Amano, best known for his video game design work. This art book compiles a group of different illustrations that many fans may not be aware of, let alone seen. His artwork is comprised of a multitude of styles and sources that will easily astound and surprise the reader with all of his gorgeous detail. He is currently the most well known Japanese painter in the world and the chief designer for Final Fantasy, samples of which also appear here.

He writes comic books and articles on comic books and animation for various publications in addition to scripts,
short stories and novels. He is also skilled in sales, marketing and promotion, and has film and TV production
