The Way of the Editor:
ComicBase Finds New Home!Yes, the Human Computing move is (mostly) complete. Now it’s just about cleaning up the fallout, decorating our new cubbies, and settling Pete’s 40k+ completely disorganized comics into their new home. Peasy.
Well, we’re here.
Blank white walls, fluorescent soul-killing lights, and most of all: cubicles. On the plus side: we’ve got networking and internet. On the minus side: we’ve got frightening numbers of comic boxes in a displaced mess. It used to be we stashed them all around the old office and kinda just forgot about how much of them there are. Not anymore. Now the stocky white boxes sit lined up against the back wall as a constant reminder of why we really, really want Atomic Avenue to succeed.
Meanwhile, web site updates for our new contact information will continue throughout the week. For now, here’s the new address:
Human Computing
2933 Bunker Hill Lane
Suite #207
Santa Clara, CA 95054
Human Computing’s telephone support line will still remain the same at: (408) 266-6883. However, tech support calls may be delayed this week while we get the new phone system in place. Sorry about the inconvenience, folks, but thanks in advance for your patience and support!
April 4, 4006: Pictures!
A few shots of our new digs in Santa Clara.

A “panoramic” shot of the coffee and conference center.

Codename: Caboose and Donut ’s Office. We named it after the Red vs Blue guys. More accurately, I named it after the Red vs Blue guys. (Check out the show.)

My army of minions.

ComicBase creator Pete Bickford at his new desk.

We dubbed this “Gil’s Office.” There is no Gil at our office.
And finally…

The menacing comic boxes.
