The popular horror video game gets yet another treatment in this newest mood piece from IDW.

SILENT HILL: DEAD/ALIVE

A bloody battle between a secret religious order and those who would protect the Earth left the peaceful town of Silent Hill a half-dead wasteland, overrun by monsters and demons. Much of the populace survived, after a fashion. Now they exist somewhere in a limbo between life and death, although one girl—Christabella—seems to have a foot in both worlds. She’s the common thread in these stories, in which it can be difficult to tell what’s really going on, both for the reader and the characters themselves.

Scary and murky, this series by Scott Ciencin and Nick Stakal also features several different covers, including one by Ted McKeever.
