Genre: Super-Heroes

Chris Eliopoulos’ exuberant art style combines perfectly with Mark Sumerak’s fun-loving scripts in Franklin Richards, Son of a Genius. Franklin Richards, son of Mr. Fantastic and the Invisible Woman, has access to the most amazing high-tech gear on the planet, all from his father’s lab. Though his dutiful robot care-taker, H.E.R.B.I.E., usually tries to talk him out of his wild plans, Franklin never-the-less steals anything that looks at all fun or useful, from anti-gravity devices to allow him to imitate Spider-Man, to the frictionless force field to protect himself from the school bully. Of course, every one of his father’s inventions has a downside, and Franklin isn’t adept at predicting the trouble some of them may cause, leading to hilarious situations suitable for all ages.

Jennifer grew up in an almost-rural part of California and is currently living in the metropolis of Portland. She knows how to fish without bait, find magnetic north, shoot a bow and arrow, and slaughter small animals, but very rarely does any of it.

Jennifer’s favorite comics include PS 238, She-Hulk, Usagi Yojimbo, Fables, and Impulse.
