Mark Arnold:

Real Heroes

Pieces for Mom+ Scarlett’s Curse

Pieces for Mom: A Tale of the Undead

Genre: Horror

Pieces for Mom has much more humor and much more story than what traditionally appears in a zombie comic book. Usually in comic books like this, the zombies attack just like in Night of the Living Dead without much regard for anything logical. They move at a laborious pace and usually have their arms outstretched looking for food. Without spoiling too much, Mike spends the majority of the story finding meat for his parents…

The illustrations contained throughout are very graphic and gory, but they complement the story quite nicely.

Scarlett’s Curse

Genre: Horror

A sexy girl named Scarlett encounters a crystal ball that glows red in an old antique shop. The ball is accidentally smashed on the ground, unleashing a series of mutant demons and monsters resembling the creatures from Alien and other bizarre-looking creatures. Scarlett single-handedly takes it upon herself to defeat the demons though the use of a magic sword also conveniently available in the antique shop. She defeats many of the monsters and is given the sword to keep, but her work is not done and her saga is only just beginning…
