Supernatural: Origins

Supernatural: Origins

Genre: Horror, Licensed

In the hit TV series, Supernatural, brothers Sam and Dean travel middle America investigating mysterious and unexplained events. In what might be considered this decade’s X-Files, they pursue and generally kick butt on every supernatural threat they can find, from ghosts, demons and vampires to over-zealous fellow hunters.

Naturally, they didn’t end up as demon-killers by accident—Mom was killed when they were young, and Dad was smart enough to know there was more going on than the police wanted to admit. John Winchester dedicated the rest of his life, and thus his kids’ as well, to hunting the supernatural in the ultimate hope of killing whatever killed his wife.

True to it’s title, this series tells the back story of the TV show, as John and his boys discover that the boogie man and other things that go bump in the night are real! A back-up story focuses a bit more on the boys themselves, and how their unconventional demon-hunting childhood shaped them into the adults seen on TV.

From his secret Rocky Mountain refuge 9200 feet above the world, Joe indulges his passion for comics and other alternate realities, including his own.
