Human Computing (the folks who’ve created both ComicBase and this site) would like to welcome you. This site is open to all, subject to the following Conditions of Use. By visiting or ordering from this site, you are agreeing to abide by the following conditions, so please read them carefully.
We value your privacy, and have developed a pretty darn good Privacy Notice to let you know exactly what we are doing to protect your personal information.
When you visit this site, or send us email, you consent for us to contact you electronically, usually by reply email or via a publicly posted notice (such as a newsletter or Q&A posting). When legal agreements and conditions require that communication be in writing, you agree that notices, terms, emails, and other communications that we send you are satisfactory for meeting this requirement.
All content on this site, including, but not limited to its software, text, and graphics, is the property of Human Computing, or its content suppliers. Copyright to comic book artwork is held by its owner, and titles and characters are trademarked by their respective owners, and protected under both United States and international copyright and trademark law. ComicBase™ is a trademark of Human Computing.
You may only use this site for your personal use. You may not download it (with the exception of page caching), modify it, or repost sections of it without the prior express written consent of Human Computing. Resale and commercial use of this site and any portion of its data (including price information) is explicitly prohibited, as is data mining and extraction. You may, however, to link to this site’s home page from a page of your own.

You further grant Human Computing the right to use your name as submitted with the posting in conjunction with any such postings. When you post content to this site, you warrant that you otherwise control all rights to it, and that you agree to indemnify Human Computing and its affiliates from any use or misuse of your posted content.
Human Computing and its affiliates have made all possible efforts to accurately describe the products offered for sale on this site, although it’s not possible for us to warrant that we won’t ever make a mistake in this regard. If a product sold by Human Computing turns out not to be as described, you agree that your sole remedy is to return it in unused condition, within 30 days of purchase for a refund of the purchase price. If a product is sold by a third party through Human Computing’s sites, your sole remedy is to return it to the seller for refund, pursuant to the terms of sale for that item.
Here’s the really arcane and weasely bit of the Conditions of Use: As the lawyers say, use of this site is provided on an “as is” basis. To the extent that the law allows, we don’t promise that this site is actually good for anything, fulfils any useful purpose, or is not just plain broke. What’s more, we disclaim (to the extent the law allows) responsibility for any damage you incur as a result of this site, or any emails sent by it. That said, your state or local laws might not allow us to duck out of warranties like this. If so, you may have additional rights, and some of the above disclaimer may not apply to you.
All disputes relating to this site or products purchased through it are subject to settlement through confidential arbitration in San Jose, California, and are subject to the laws of the State of California. Should any part of this agreement be deemed invalid or void in a court of law, the condition will not be deemed to affect the validity of the remaining agreement’s terms and conditions.
